CommentsWhen visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user‑agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymised string (hash) created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy can be found at https://automattic.com/privacy/. https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes publicly visible in the context of your comment.
Media Library
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from images on the site.

When you leave a comment, you may opt to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These cookies are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when leaving another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will set up several cookies to save your login information and screen‑display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen‑options cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login persists for two weeks. When you log out, the login cookies are removed.

Microsoft Accounts and Linked Services

There are three types of Microsoft account:
- When you create your own Microsoft account tied to your personal email address, we refer to that account as a personal Microsoft account.
- When you or your organisation (such as an employer or your school) create your Microsoft account tied to your email address provided by that organisation, we refer to that account as a work or school account.
- When you or your service provider (such as a cable or internet service provider) create your Microsoft account tied to your email address with your service provider’s domain, we refer to that account as a third-party account.
If you sign into a service offered by a third party with your Microsoft account, you will share with that third party the account data required by that service.
How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. For registered users, we store the personal information you provide in your user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).
Your Rights Over Your Data
You have the right to:
- Request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you
- Request that we erase any personal data we hold about you (except data we are obliged to keep for legal, administrative, or security purposes)
Where We Send Your Data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam‑detection service.
Security and Disclaimer
Alpha uses Cloudflare to protect the site from cyber‑attacks. However, in force majeure events such as hacking or incidents originating from our hosting provider that lead to personal data leaks, we disclaim all legal liability for resulting losses , unless otherwise required by law.
Similarly, we disclaim liability for any unauthorised content uploaded through third‑party attacks. Any content not controlled by Alpha will only be verified after an official statement has been issued.
Legal Basis and Personal Data Protection Law
This policy is based on Vietnamese law, including:
- The Law on Network Information Security 2015
- The Law on Electronic Transactions 2005
- Decree 13/2023/ND‑CP on Personal Data Protection (effective from 01 July 2023)
- Other applicable regulations
This policy takes effect on 30/04/2025 and will be updated whenever the law changes or Alpha Education’s operations change.
Alpha Education is committed to complying with all regulations on privacy and personal data protection.
ANNEX: PERSONAL DATA PRIVACY POLICY
1. Nextend Social Login
The data collected include email, name, social profile ID, avatar, and access token when users log in or link a social account. The data are used to authenticate the account and are not shared with third parties except for verification with the social network provider. The data are deleted when a user deletes their WordPress account. The plugin may create cookies to maintain login state but does not collect telemetry or embed third‑party code.
2. WooCommerce
WooCommerce collects data when users make purchases or create accounts, including: products viewed, IP address, browser, name, address, email, phone number, shipping address, payment information, and order notes. Data are used for order processing, customer support, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. WooCommerce may share payment information with third parties such as PayPal or payment gateways. Data are accessible to administrators and support staff for order processing and dispute handling.
3. Really Simple Security
This security plugin does not process any personally identifiable data and therefore is not subject to GDPR or Decree 13/2023/ND‑CP.
Legal Basis and Commitment
We process personal data in accordance with Decree 13/2023/ND‑CP of the Government of Vietnam and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data are collected only for specific, lawful purposes, and we provide clear notice to users. We do not request national ID numbers, do not sell personal data, and do not share data with third parties without explicit user consent.
